'FUTURE! FUTURE!' The only reason why I said it is because of that robotic voice.
Anyway, this is a logo that I've been wanting to do for a while and for good reason. It looks flipping cool! The 1999 Viacom Productions logo. This was a pretty unique one to remake as it is like the return of Sony Vegas for compositing. Now, let's get with the overly detailed info. The first part I did was the 'Viacom' and 'Productions' text. The 'Viacom' text was actually six separate letters so I can do the transition while the 'Productions' text was all one word. The background is pretty much the letters of the former text but animated in a way that looks like a background.
Speaking of background, I decided to add a blue hue and some noise textures to make it...well...blue. Also, I've included some blurred clouds because reasons. And, to make it look like the 2003 version since the 'Wigga-Wigga' font is bold apparently. This also includes some hard light and overlay effects to make it more visually pleasing and overall, I quite like what I did there.
-Blender 3D 2.77 for the 3D elements.
-Sony Vegas Pro 13 for the compositing and the addition of the byline.
