In this episode of MY Story, we met Mr. Manimaran, a humble kacang putih seller who is carrying on a tradition started by his grandfather. It all began when his grandfather brought the skills to make kacang putih from India. After that, his father continued the business and now it is Mr. Manimaran’s turn.
He shared that the journey has not been easy. His family faced many ups and downs to make the business what it is today, but they never gave up. For Mr. Manimaran, what matters most is quality. He only uses natural spices with no chemicals at all because he wants to make sure his snacks are safe and tasty. And when customers leave good reviews, it really motivates him to keep doing better.
Today, Mr. Manimaran is proud to carry on his family’s legacy, showing that with passion and hard work, even a small snack can have a big story behind it.
