I hate that this stupid balm is almost $40, but I have also tried every balm and this is the only one that doesn't break me out or irritate my skin at all and takes off all of my makeup, and it's probably the skin care item I have been purchasing in the last 3 or 4 years that I have the most empties of. I just always come back.

I don't know what I would do without this stuff at this point. Between Differin and medications and now tretinoin and already having super dry, sensitive skin, I'm amazed that I haven't had more irritation and flakiness.

This stuff has never added to my breakouts. It is pretty thick and oily feeling, but I usually like that because my skin is dry (though during summer in nyc under a mask not as much, it does feel a little sticky/sweaty)
Aquaphor Healing Ointment

I can't live without this. I use it on my lips always, but also when using retinoids, putting a bit on areas that get super sensitive beforehand really helps. For example the skin around my nose and eyes, corners of my mouth, and neck.
