In 2017, Michelle and her then nine-year-old son Dylan took a wrong turn on a bushwalk that ended up almost costing them their lives.
The two were lost for 10 days without water, food or warm clothes – surviving by drinking from puddles and even their own urine.
“By the second day [of being lost] … I knew we were in deep s***,” she said.
