Inspired my the one of my favorite tracks, i wanted to play with the idea of layering multiple acid style basslines and bringing them in and out using the looper function on the 1010 blackbox. I'm realising i do something similar in my live setup. I'll take multiple midi sequences and send them all to the same synthesizer (ex. youtu.be/YnDci6I3p_g?t=448) Anyway, this turned out a lot cooler than i had hoped! Also, running a straight forward analog monophonic subtractive synthesizer through some FX can REALLY help it go a lot further.
