After transforming rooms for other people, it was finally time to tackle my own. My workspace had slowly become cluttered, impractical and almost impossible to work in so I decided to completely rebuild it.
In part one, we empty the room, rip out the old carpet and creaky floorboards, add sound insulation and build a solid new subfloor ready for the herringbone flooring.
