If you want to see a realistic non aesthetic zero waste lifestyle, this is the video for you! Zero waste is not perfect, but the internet can make it seem so. I still use a lot of plastic, I upcycle a lot, I leave my compost in the freezer, the list goes on and on. Zero waste can be ugly and not pretty (and sometimes a little gross for people). But a sustainable lifestyle is about reusing what you have. It's not about buying the perfect zero waste swaps! Here's some realistic sustainability!

In this video I show a realistic zero waste lifestyle (that is sometimes ugly and gross). This is a video about a zero waste lifestyle for beginners! Here are some zero waste tips and tricks! Sustainable lifestyles aren't about eco-friendly products and zero waste swaps. The biggest low waste lifestyle tip is about reusing what you already have. A few zero waste swaps I talk about in this video are reusable period products (GladRags, Thinx, and a Lena cup), LastTissue for a handkerchief, a clothes drying rack, and more. A zero waste lifestyle includes plastic, upcycling, reusable products, making mistakes, recycling, composting, reusing, mending clothes, etc. On the internet, zero waste can seem like it's expensive because of the hundreds of zero waste swaps that are available. However, a true eco-friendly lifestyle is about minimizing our consumption. Minimalism is great for a sustainable zero waste lifestyle. Zero waste is impossible? You don't have to be a minimalist. You don't have to be plastic-free. You don't have to be perfect at zero waste.
