I'm not all that surprised that everyone's hating Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, considering how they overreacted to the lack of a national dex and the minor graphical issues in Sword and Shield. Though even though I actually enjoy these games, I will admit, people at least have much better reasons for hating Scarlet and Violet than they do with Sword and Shield, since performance issues are a much better reason to hate something than "Oh no they couldn't fit every single Pokemon to ever exist into one game!" and "Oh boo-hoo this game has graphical issues that you have to go OUT OF YOUR WAY to notice!" Though if you ask my opinion, I consider SV to be guilty pleasures of mine, but yeah I won't deny that game's faults (even though I've only run into 2 instances of glitches that are really THAT bad, one being where I talked to this guy with a Pelipper and it wouldn't let me leave the screen, and the other being when I entered this one building while taking the Normal-type gym test and it closed me out of the game)
