Get your dancing shoes on! Quake wants YOU to dance
Alright, here's 1.0 of my Quake 1.5 edits for e2m8. It's in a state that is pretty functional so I might mostly call it here. I have other ideas I want to explore, but... already spent a month toying around with this thing lol.
The further you go into the video the more spoilers you'll see. I do manage to win all fights eventually xD
00:36 easy mode start
03:18 normal mode start
11:17 hard mode start
16:55 nightmare mode start
Easy mode is now nearly identical to the original 1.5 release and the whole mod was originally based on the latest 1.5 source available. I feel like easy mode hurts, but dies easily, fitting the name Easy mode. About on par with e1m7's easy.
Normal mode is actually my previous nightmare mode edit for the most part. It can hit hard, but it has limited amounts of attacks, making it easier to learn the boss without being overwhelmed from RNG. I still died a bunch to it xD
Hard mode was slapped together from nightmare, which I worked on the most. It seems functional, tough but throws in the new attacks randomly.
Nightmare mode I worked on the most. It reached a state where I barely ever won; so my answer was to have respawning health and items, which seemed more fun to me than alternative balancing or nerfing ideas.
I'm pretty satisfied with this boss, and it has been a long road. Editing him every once in a while for fun.
I'll probably upload the current mod somehow; maybe in ModDB, though I didn't keep track of all the mods I used to reach this point. And it does remain unfinished.
Still want to edit e3m8's boss more (it's currently interesting, but could use a big edit like I did for e2m8) And e4 doesn't even have a boss which I always wanted to remedy...
Anyways, maybe a proper tour of the mod once I release it. (Though the Quake LP videos I uploaded a year or so ago show mostly what it looks like. A customized Quake 1.5 experience. Maybe call it Quake 1.6? Leaning back into the original look. Would be nice if there was a toggle for the old models or new models hmm..)

![Utawarerumono PC opening (AI upscaled 60fps)
Uploaded the original opening years ago: https://youtu.be/ne_zju0cTp0
Now, using current software: video enhance AI and SVP pro, comparing the quality, taken from 640x480 to 1440x1080. If you want to learn more about Utawarerumono (one of my all time favorite visual novels, though the PCs 18+ scenes felt tacked on and seem not mentioned outside the scenes), heres the old description I wrote for the old video, just for a trip through time:
Utawarerumono created by Leaf. Translated from Japanese into English by Soylations/mirror moon.
This game contains 18+ content/aka H-Game. Although there is a PS2 version that does not contain these scenes. It is a Strategy RPG game with ADV/Visual Novel elements.
This game can be imported for about 75$ US. To add voices also purchase the PS2 version for about 60$.
As far as recommendations go, this one is one of my favorites. Dont forget this game also has an anime that was liscenced by ADV Films. Great stuff here.
Reuploaded to fix quality problem created by youtube...
Assuming you are 18 or older! Here are a few trustworthy sites that I know you can order the game from :
Warning! The links might have some not work safe images of other game on it...
Erogeshop.com/Himeyashop.com is one of the easiest and safest places to order from :
Utawarerumono - PC game.
http://www.erogeshop.com/product_info.php/products_id/1000556
Unfortantely the price is usually retail price translated into $. They have sales sometimes [just missed one!] But its only like 5% off the price usually.
Shipping to USA is something like 18$ for the first item and 4$ for each additional.
Alternatively the other main place I know about is Paletweb.com
http://www.paletweb.com/selectpage.asp?code=0000798
A bit less in price and trustworthy. But, slightly more troublesome to place orders; since you have to use PayPal...
Make sure follow their directions closely! They have nice sales sometimes up to at least 10% off. [missed this one too!]
Shipping varies.
Finally if you know someone in Japan, you can have them order off amazon.jp. They usually have the best prices, but they dont ship international far as I know...
http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%83%AA%E3%83%BC%E3%83%95-%E3%81%86%E3%81%9F%E3%82%...
If you want to buy the PS2 game to add voices into the PC game...
It seems only amazon.jp and Himeyashop/Erogeshop.com have copies left...

![PC (RPG) Extended Preview = 05 Guild Wars : Prophecies [TrueHD][HDmax]
This video is for watching in full-screen. You can watch at HD video quality without even using the HD button! The advantage of this is; it may run smoother and take less CPU than if you were using regular HD...
Disadvantage is, it takes about 5 minutes to load the video! (Due to much larger size than normal)
If you use turn on HD however... youll be using HDmax, which is basically the same quality as the original file... PC (RPG) Extended Preview = 05 Guild Wars : Prophecies [TrueHD][HDmax]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/hnoGF4FfvBY/mqdefault.jpg)
