It's been 4 years since I started MMD, I want you to keep in mind that I'm no expert or a great animator I still need to learn a lot but I've improved quite a bit and I'm happy with my animation style so far and like I said, anyone can perfectly do great things in MMD, so I invite you to keep animating, keep practicing and the most important one have fun!
