Here's a detailed description on my PR journey. I got my PR in November 2019. I came to Canada in December 2016 and started studying Project Management Program. The only reason I selected PM is because it had an internship option and the college would help you find an internship.
My program was completed in December 2018 which also included two months of internship. I started working full-time in the same company where I did an internship and worked there until March 2019. I applied for my post-graduation work permit in Feb 2018 which got approved in April 2018. This was valid until April 2019. In March, I got an ITA (Invitation To Apply) and I submitted my application for PR and also submitted another application for Bridging Work Permit. After 3 weeks of this, I had to go back India as my visa was expiring. My bridging got approved in June 2019 when I was in India and I came back to Canada on bridging visa on October 1, 2019. On the next day, my PR got approved and I finally did the landing the following month and received the PR card in mail within 4 weeks.
