IT'S FINALLY HERE! The one you've all been waiting for! My Past Is Not Today, sung by Sunset Shimmer! I remember back when the first movie came out, everyone was laughing at Sunset Shimmer's design, character story and development, etc. But now she's a fan favorite, and her roles in the second and third movies are much better in my opinion. Definitely one of my favorite characters from the EqG series.
So what about the song? I was pretty happy with it upon its initial release, but I do wish there was some more interesting development in the second half of the song. Still, it was well done and I enjoyed working on it.
I'm sorry it took so long to get to this one finished. We had other projects we needed to get out of the way first, and as newer songs came in, MPINT had to be pushed back further and further. Anyways, I hope this was worth the wait and that you enjoyed this transcription!

Hearths Warming Time! And with it comes half a dozen new songs! Well, in a way its five, because the last song is a reprise of the first. Anyways, I will be doing all of the songs eventually, but I wanted to start off with my favorites first. As you can probably tell, I liked Say Goodbye to the Holiday the most. Before you complain about the tempo, yes, I already know this transcription doesnt always sync up with the original song. There were just too many tempo changes and whatnot to account for. The beginning is where most of the speed issues are. After the intro finishes, the tempo is mostly consistent. I apologize I couldnt get it exact; this was the best I could do.
This song is definitely one of my favorites of all time. We havent really had a nice villain song since This Day Aria. Unleash the Magic from EG was also good, but I think this new song tops it. Is it as good as This Day Aria? Hmm not sure. But regardless, its awesome!
The episode itself was a lot of fun. Ever since the Season 3 finale, theyve just gotten better and better at making musical episodes. Thats all I have to say. Ill leave the deeper analysis to the critics and analyzers out there lol

Another FNAF song! This time its Break My Mind by DA Games. Weim and I have decided to commit to expanding to other fandoms and music genres outside of MLP. Well still be keeping up with MLP as new songs and episodes come out, but well be looking at other options as well. The reason for this is that theres actually been a decline in brony viewership on YouTube. Not just for our channels, but for many other MLP channels as well. Its likely because the show is on a break at the moment, but it made Weim and the rest of our group think about what we should do when MLP isnt airing during its off-seasons. Anyways, we hope this dip in viewership is temporary, and were excited for the second half of season 5 and the third EqG movie.

I actually did not make the entire transcription. It was originally started by Ollie Graffham, a fan who wanted Weim and I to improve his transcription and feature it on our channels. Yes, he gave us permission to do so.

His original transcription had a pretty accurate melody, but the left hand part needed more notes to really drive the song forward and make it more epic. I altered the left hand and added some extra notes to the right hand.")

Have another song! I rarely upload twice in one day, but since weve got so many songs from this episode, Im trying to get them done as quickly as possible. With that being said, I definitely cant finish them all today. Ive got other things I need to do later. Ill try to get the last few done by tomorrow or Monday. Please be patient!
This is a really catchy and cheerful song. In the same way Say Goodbye to the Holiday was nearly as good as This Day Aria, this one is nearly as good as Smile, at least to me. It definitely captures Pinkies cheerful nature just like Smile did. I think it wouldve been nice if this song were extended a bit and featured some more variation. However, I understand why they couldnt do that. There wouldnt have been enough room for the other songs and dialogue. Overall, Im satisfied with this song.
Transcribing it was a bit tricky due to the swing, but it wasnt as hard as I thought it would be. Once again, I tried to keep things simple. If you download the sheets and try to play it, youll see that everything is notated as if there isnt any swing. Thats because I tell you to play with swing at the beginning! It might be difficult, but once you get into the groove, its a piece of cake.
I think there are some portions of the song that arent in swing, but because those sections are usually just a word or two, notating them differently or adding text to tell the player to switch playing styles wouldve been inconvenient for everyone. Of course, if you really want to be picky and spread out those notes properly, go ahead.
