In this video I feed two classic 1970s Roland 100m modular synthesizers into two EMS VCS3 synths. I am controlling the system 109s with an original 70s Roland modular controller keyboards appeggiator. I’m then feeding the output into the VCS3s and patching the mic 2 input into output 2, which can be switched from loudspeaker to triggering the output. Carefully controlling the level I am then able to control the VCS3s
rhythmically with the Rolands, so everything is synchronised.
This is all a test. The Roland’s are just plugged into a single Genelec mini speaker . The VCS3s are using the crappy built in speakers.
Next step is to add effects, and plug everything thru a mixer, adding a drum machine. It all sounds wicked!!! 😎😎😎😎😎😎
