This video expresses my opinion on Legacy Mode. When I went to the Jagex HQ last week, myself and several other players had the pleasure of testing "Legacy Mode" in its Alpha form (Pre-Beta). It honestly surpassed my expectations and it's looking very promising, however I'll let the video tell you the rest!
