There's never a bad time to build a good bushcraft shelter- a place of calm respite, a place to get away from it all.... but now is especially important to get outside, get some fresh air- and GET HAPPY! I've been eyeing this spot for a while and it's time for a new shelter. Big blow-down here has provided a gorgeous amount of timber to use. Shelters need one thing.... A LOT OF MATERIAL! So this spot is gonna be great for building a shelter and also long term use for firewood. PLUS- it's right next to a cool bog and pond..... maybe some fishing is in my future!
