This is my current set up for my blue TN for writing. I now only use my camel regular TN with a monthly and a weekly insert for recording my daily life, and use this blue TN exclusively for writing. I keep two tomoe river inserts in this notebook, one for ideas (or more creative writing) and another one for reading notes.
I wanted to set it up so that I can write comfortably with fountain pens in it for long time periods, and two things that helped me the most to achieve this goal is 1) keeping it slim, and 2) using the pencil boards/plastic sheets. I didn't put anything that will make it bulky or uneven in it, and have not been using many stickers or washi tapes in the inserts, either, since the tomoe river paper is so thin.
