Well, its been a busy Neo day for this geek/gamer. Got my ES-DE setup finally going and all systems up to PS2 and some Switch working. This video will show just NES, PS2 and PSP games running.
I also made this video in iMovie on the Neo and exported in 4K. It took 10mins to export, not bad for a 9:30min video!
Have all games now launching from ES-DE including having to fix the PCSX2 link in ES-DE (gotta edit the en_rules xml file to point to the pscx2-v2.6.3.app file name vs pcsx2.app, prob can rename app in macos to just be pcsx2.app; haven't tried).
Yea once you get ES-DE setup, its beautiful!! However the actual setup of it, esp on MacOS (not many support articles about it) is def on the higher end of difficulty, i'd call it a 9/10. it took me about 3-4 hours to get this all setup.
Big thing w/Retroarch is to set Video settings to be Full Screen or else ES-DE has issues handing off the window to it. same with PCSX2!. So many gotchas at times!!
