At Carousel Boutique, Rarity enlists the help of her pet Opalescence while making her gown for the Grand Galloping Gala in Canterlot. Later, Twilight Sparkle enters the room with Applejack and asks for help fixing a button on her dress for the Gala. Rarity remarks that the dress is too old and insists on making Twilight a new dress instead, as well as sprucing up the "work duds" Applejack intends to wear to the Gala.
