Alright, back in business. Let's see how long this lasts...
I don't know why it is, but this is the one song in this movie I didn't really like very much. Not that it's a bad song or anything, it just doesn't seem to have much of a purpose. The others all tied very closely into the scene they were in, even if the singing was random, and I guess this one just didn't feel natural to the flow of the movie to me. Besides, we already had our sugar-laced happy song this movie; when Pete sang to his dragon.
In a movie that was trying way too hard to be the next Mary Poppins, this felt like just one song too many. You are of course free to have a different opinion, but I for one am glad it's past and we can finally get back to the villains of the picture...
Shhhhh! Be very, very quiet. I'm hunting companies... blast! Hasbro and Disney heard you! And there they go running off... I'll never own them at this rate...
