Everyone loves the movies and for my guest, Illeana Douglas, it truly affected her life. Author of the new best seller, “Connecticut in the Movies,” she appeared with me when she wrote her first book: “I Blame Dennis Hopper: And Other Stories from a Life Lived In and Out of the Movies.”

Discovered by Martin Scorces she played roles in five of his classic films including “Goodfellas” and “Cape Fear.” Our conversation, although very personal to her life, sheds insights that will resonate with us all.
