Betty's magazine columns regularly appeared in publications like Good Housekeeping and Family Circle, and Kate has carefully curated this collection for their humour and social history. Kate also wrote the introduction. Sarah LeFanu is a former Woman's Press editor and writer of Dreaming of Rose, A Biographer's Journal (Handheld 2021). She also wrote the introduction to Latchkey Ladies by Marjorie Grant (Handheld 2022).
We were delighted to be joined by Anna and Richard Tjepkema, Betty's daughter and son-in-law, who both provide additional perspective and valuable insight with their personal recollections of Betty in her private and public life.
