How to travel from Krabi to Koh Tao? Well, it’s complicated, especially if you are traveling with a suitcase in Thailand. The journey to Ko Tao involves many changes, including a minivan, bus, speedboat and ferry. The suitcase facilities aren’t the greatest, to put it bluntly, there is often not enough space for the tourists’ cases on public transport in Thailand. The journey also seemed disorganised. I started from Ao Nang beach in Krabi (hotel pickup was the nicest thing about it). Later drove to Krabi Town, took a coach to Surat Thani, a speedboat to Koh Phangan and a catamaran ferry to Ko Tao. At least it was certainly worth it in the end as Koh Tao is my top favourite island in Thailand and the accommodation I stayed at was AMAZING.
It’s not so easy being a solo female traveler in Thailand sometimes. Especially when you struggle to lift your heavy suitcase. I hope you enjoy me turning my helplessness into a comedy video. If you did please like this video and join me on travels!
