Mr. Eight-Three-One | My IBM ThinkPad 600e @MrEightThreeOne | Uploaded 8 years ago | Updated 19 hours ago
Here we are with another one of these computer videos. This is the IBM ThinkPad 600e, the second laptop I ever owned. It worked okay in its early years, but it became incredibly cumbersome in its later life and I actually really grew to hate it. It's been out of service for years due to a dead hard drive and dead CMOS battery, but recently I restored it and now it's running Windows 95. I've been considering letting it have 98 instead, but given I don't have enough reasons to do so, I'll keep it at 95 for the time being.
Specs:
8GB 500x Compact Flash card (in place of a hard drive)
Intel Pentium II 366 MHz (I think)
DVD-ROM drive
NeoMagic MagicMedia 256AV graphics (2.5 MB)
Crystal Audio
160MB of RAM (Sometimes 96 MB, which I explain why in the video)
