Seller offered to ship after Christmas to decrease likelihood of delays, I accepted. My brain read "holidays" instead of Christmas, and assumed we meant the same thing. Oops.
Shipment notification on 12/28/2020, and a tracking update on 12/29... then NOTHING for 4 days. Since the heatpack was spent and I was worried, I contacted the seller to update them. They were understanding, but still hopeful and requested to stay updated.
I continued tracking and there were no more updates. A week after contacting the seller, I requested help via USPS online. They assured me that due to the holidays and short-staffing with Covid, some packages just weren't being scanned but to keep tracking.
After another week with no update (1/15/21), I filed a claim for the missing package with USPS, and requested a replacement from the seller. The replacement plant shipped 1/19. The SAME DAY that the original plant finally showed up on my doorstep!
