As you all know, I love star wars with a passion. So, I decided to make my own star wars-ish laser sounds. I took sounds from a video of a guy hitting a rock against a metal pipe. Then I edited the laser noise in audacity, adding multiple layers to it, and mixing it ever so slightly with the "phaser" effect. Adding the fade in effect on a few, and increasing the phaser up to 2% more than before, or more until I was satisfied. Giving it that whoosh sound that you would hear in a star wars blaster or found the terminator's phase plasma rifle in the future war scenes. Taking inspiration from my two favorite sound designers, Ben Burtt and Gary Rydstrom. Enjoy! You can use these in whatever projects you like as long as you give credit to me! ;)
