anyone who talked to me while i grinded this is fully aware of what im about to say
TTC Difficulty: Low-Mid Horrific (12.34)
Eternal Abyss Difficulty: Low Horrific (12.5 - 12.3)
My personal difficulty: Mid Horrific (12.46)
this is the worst experience ive ever had playing a difficult thing in a video game, for the sake of yourself and everyone around you never try to beat this tower unless you're like way over the required skill level.
to put it bluntly, this tower is literally just 50% up to pure luck, you can't do anything about half your fails. the tower NEVER gets consistent and your strats will break or stop working every other day. mel put it best really, it feels like half of the jumps are jump showcases with no effort put in to actually make the jumps function correctly, they're just there to look cool when they actually do work, and the other half is just filler that randomly doesn't work. some egregious examples of dysfunctional gameplay is the wallhop on floor 4 which i literally hit my head on about 4 times throughout the grind, and certain jumps on floor 2 just never get consistent, they might work for like a day but then they just stop working and you just have to deal with it.
i thought when i finally got to floor 10 i was almost done with the grind, which i guess i was but i wasn't expecting to fail the exact same jump FOUR FUCKING TIMES, granted it was mostly because my nerves were too much for me to press space instantly but it still pissed me off regardless, my final fail count was

about the difficulty, since i got to floor 10 of toev im kind of basing it in relation to that and tomn which was my hardest prior to this, and i found this to be WAY more of a struggle than when i was grinding toev, i dont find this easier but it was just miserable all around. i think this tower is extremely underrated in difficulty and its nowhere near bottom-low horrific or low. anyway im pretty much out of stuff to say
