My first album Vetiver is all about scent - and in particular the sort of scents that have an instant and intense effect on memory - taking you right back to a certain place and time. With this in mind Matthew Rice and Matthias Roux of @CasimiGuitars met with the astonishingly talented perfumier Rayhan Mansouri of Ruya Naturals ruyanaturals.com and commissioned a bespoke scent to accompany my guitar. Rayhan made us a wonderful oil for the fretboard, a scented candle with a wooden wick and a diffusion of that same scent in sugar cane alcohol for me to wear.

I am very touched by this thoughtful and inspiring gift. If you ask nicely I might let you smell me.
