This is really rushed and shitty LMAO I Iost motivation for this approximately 1 day after starting this, and since it has an important piece of plot for my hc tlk au I kinda needed to finish it. so here ya'll go 🫠

Basically what's happening here is Regandi (Kovu's father from a deleted script, for those who may not know) tells Kovu that he's welcome to come home with him, and be the heir to his kingdom.
(btw he extends the offer to Vitani also but I KINDA FUCKING FORGOT TO INCLUDE HER LMFAO but she chooses to stay in Milele for now, since her role is to protect the Pridelands and lead the Lion Guard - though she will go to visit from time to time)
Kiara is happy for Kovu, but she is also devastated because she was raised to be the queen of Milele. How could she be with Kovu if he was away in some jungle? After all, he's her second half. But Simba cannot stand to see her this way, and says she could go. So, she leaves with Kovu and Regandi, like she does in the script that Regandi is from.
What's unaddressed here is the issue that this creates. Kiara is with Kovu and Regandi, and Kion is with Rani at the Tree of Life. Who is supposed to be the heir to Milele? Well, by dear viewer, that has not gone unthought of and has an answer! That you have to wait for ;]
