The last couple of years I have been playing more skirmish rules, as for club night they are just about right. But when I want to play a bigger game I play one of Warlord Games rule sets. I have played them since they first came out and like them for various reasons, I also like the supplements which give more details on particular periods. Here I explain why I like Black Powder, Hail Caesar & Pike and Shot.
