Descriptions need love too! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

First of all, I'm not dead. I got RB3 customs on Dolphin working and it's a lot of fun to play so you can probably expect some videos but I mostly intend to play it casually and occasionally go for cool sections because it's fun. Now for the real reason behind this upload.
I think it's obvious by now that my interest in playing Clone Hero has gone down dramatically the past year. I've been playing plastic guitar games for 12 years now and spent most of the last 8 years trying to improve and keep up with the competition. I've always been one if not the slowest player amongst the high-level players and only ever succeeded at keeping up with others through different means such as strumming and unorthodox tapping methods.
Triple rake tapping? That was created by uJard as a mean to bypass speed limits and popularized by me and Frosted. Meme raking? That's my own variation of Jilde's original strum tapping method. Slide tapping? The first variant of slide tapping comes from the day the Soulless 4 preview went up. Both me and Ghn00b1 figured that sliding the X was the best way for us slow players to hit murderous. Chad raking? That's me as well as an answer to Xenon++ and Soulless 6.
Almost all the methods known right now that circumvent speed requirements either were made by me or I was the first to adopt them after they were created. This worked well up until roughly 2018 when achievements reached the point that said unorthodox tapping methods became a necessity even for top players to continue pushing the skill ceiling. It's at that point that I became completely unable to compete in any way because my only mean of achieving anything without having the speed to do so now became the standard way of playing the game.
That's why the majority of my achievements in 2018 were strumming related as this was the only thing I could actually keep up with, though I quickly grew tired of regularly having a sore arm and dealing with pain on every strumming sessions as it was my only way to continue pushing the strumming stamina ceiling. I eventually gave up when I got to the point that even my strumming abilities reached its limits and any amount of pain wouldn't grant me any more results.
It was shortly after that I got to try the almighty wiitars and got pretty motivated to play seriously again thanks to the placebo skill boost but it took no time at all to peak and hardware issues eventually put me to a stop. Honestly, I've been meaning to get a new controller for a while but with all the crazy things that keeps happening lately I have zero interest in trying to maintain any sort of relevancy skill-wise anymore. If I do get a new controller, I will only play casually if at all.
For now, I'd rather focus on catching up with other games and help with the Note Tracker development in any way I can. I might give Dolphin RB3 customs a go but that's not too likely, though I am definitely interested in completing my Rock Band Full Series FC on original engines as it's one of the last thing that has yet to be done on these games. I may consider finishing up my Guitar Hero Full Series FC too, but I don't really care much about that anymore.
I'd like to thank everyone who supported me all those years and encouraged me to keep playing despite how obvious it was that my speed would prevent me from reaching new heights. I'm very grateful for all the friends I've made along the way. I have no intention to quit the community but know that my days as a competitive CH player are over. I'm simply not fit to keep up with people's genetics and I feel that I've already done everything I could do to help the community push human limitations beyond understanding.
