As a filmmaker I always wanted to go back to shooting on film. The look is so different compared to our digital cameras, no matter how many filters and overlays you apply. It has a soul and when you receive the footage after weeks waiting for it to be processed you get goose bumps when you watch it for the first time.
This has been shot last winter on a stormy day in the swiss ski resort of Nendaz - 4 Valleys. This is my backyard and I couldn't have been happier to get the super 8 camera out for the time in these conditions.
