Come with me on my first solo trip to San Francisco! 🇺🇸🌈 This San Francisco travel vlog is a particularly special one because I’m travelling to California for my best friend’s wedding — but I’m also exploring San Francisco alone for the first time.
After my solo trip to LA, I flew into San Francisco to explore the city, see the Golden Gate Bridge, visit Fisherman’s Wharf, wander the streets of San Francisco and experience the Castro and San Francisco’s famous gay nightlife. Yes, that means taking myself to a gay bar alone as part of my ongoing solo travel adventure!
There’s also my best friend’s beautiful San Francisco wedding, plenty of sightseeing, book shopping, Waymo rides, an accidental adventure into the Tenderloin and a lot of thoughts about confidence, travelling alone and pushing myself outside my comfort zone.
This year I’ve been challenging myself to do more things alone, and solo travel in the USA has become a huge part of that. From New York and Los Angeles to now San Francisco, I’m discovering how much I love travelling alone — even when it scares me.
