This adventure I hike the bomber traverse alone. Its a hike located near Hatcher Pass Alaska. I decided to start on the Gold Mint trail side and hike the 9.5 miles back to the Mint hut. The next morning I got up pretty early and hiked up to the backdoor gap and then down pennyroyal glacier to the bomber hut. It took me about 4 hours to hike the 4+ miles to bomber hut. When I got there the weather was still good, so I decided to push onward to the snowbird hut, which is about another 4+ miles. I got to the snowbird hut right on time cause is started to down pour right when I arrived. I stayed the night at the hut and then hiked out the next day. It was about 8.5 miles from the snowbird hut back to the goldmint trail head. The total trip was about 26 miles.
