My First OEIS Sequence: Number of Unique States for a Loop of Numbers Under XOR Operations @GaryExplains

I have got my very first number sequence published in the Online Encyclopedia of Integer Sequence (OEIS). A396572 is about a loop of different numbers where you keep doing XOR on neighboring pairs. The question is how many different arrangements you get before the pattern starts repeating.
