A tiny bit over 2 years later, we have managed to defeat what I hope will stay as the hardest mode of black mage in the game. Extreme Black Mage honestly isn't tooooooo much of a change from Hard Mode, the biggest thing was just phase 4 with the new aura swapping mechanic every 40 seconds or so (which plays this weird electricity sound when it happens which is what I went by instead of reading the message). Phase 4 is literally half the fight so if your party for extreme mode cant make it to p4 with at least 15 minutes left you guys probably won't clear.

The requirements for this boss are slightly above Normal Kaling (assuming you have 380 SAC) and will be the first Extreme Boss you face in this game. We tried to do Chaos Kalos right after this, but theres no realistic way we will clear with the damage we have right now. It was looking to be like a 27 minute run or so but almost no Chaos Kalos party will live that long in the fight, enraged machines are also very evil.

Hopefully sometime this Summer or so we can dish out both an Extreme Seren and Chaos Kalos clear.
