So a couple of days ago I was having hard time finding any sleep so decided to speedrun DMC1 for the first time casually. Saw Maxylobes' GDQ speedrun as a reference and then simply jumped into the game intending to finish it as fast as possible no matter how garbage my playthrough is. In fact, at several points of the game I had to mentally push myself through despite the fact that I had made too many mistakes till that time. After several screwups and everything, somehow managed to get a 47.09 time in the end. Had no prior speedrun practice or anything before this run.
After finishing this run, I realized that there's actually a detailed tutorial for this speedrun. So I may reattempt this speedrun in the future after going through that.
