Today we get to combine a few of my favorite things. Cocktails, pedal steel, Chase Bliss & Empress Effects as we look at the Reverse Mode C, the first installment of the Chase Bliss Small Batch Series.

This was 1. incredibly fun to explore and 2. totally uninformed. Designed to capture the very first sounds of exploration with this piece, I hadn't even read the manual before diving in.

On the back end I can say that this pedal wants to be pushed to its extremes, the sequencer is your friend, octave down is more fun than octave up, and you always want all 3 delays on at all times, but beyond that, there's so many sounds and ideas to explore and I'm excited to work it in to more ambient music and overall production.
