how to use my home made zipper jig. if making your own head over to the thrift store before you start digging in the kitchen drawers. find one that isn't too thick and has space for two screws. using metal drill bit make 2 holes for 2 short screws. screw fork onto wood and then proceed to bend fork in this way. this is a great tool for bag makers and is much cheaper than buying a zipper jig online!

I finally got my hands on the Martelli Notions Ergonomic Machine Tilt and Foot Pedal Riser, and WOW—game changer! ✨
✅ The foot pedal riser keeps my foot at a natural angle and stops my pedal from sliding all over the floor (no more awkward stretching or back strain!).
✅ The machine tilt gives me a better view of my sewing without hunching over—hello, better posture!
I’ve learned the hard way that ignoring ergonomics leads to pain, and even though I’m still young [wink], I want to build these healthy habits now so I can sew for years to come!
If you sew for long periods, you need to check these out! Have you tried ergonomic tools for sewing yet? Let’s chat in the comments! ⬇️
