Next, 'anchor' your color with a neutral brown. I promise if you've ever worn a red lip and thought it looked weird on you, this step is a gamechanger. A hint of brown on the corners creates a natural looking depth so it doesnt look like the red is floating on your skin.
And last, finish the look with a gorgeous red lipstick! I love an opaque, matte red for high impact when the rest of my makeup is light. Alternatively, this look also works great with a sheer red gloss for a popsicle stained effect.
