It's a bird! It's a plane! It's SUPERMAN!
The grand daddy of all superheroes. The Last Son of Krypton. The Man of Steel. The Man of Tomorrow. The Big Blue Boy Scout. He has many names, many iterations, and nearly a century of stories under his belt, and he is back in theaters this summer.
Like many others in my age group, I grew up with a specific Superman - the one from Warner Bros. 90ies animated series, helmed by the ever-legendary Bruce Timm.
And in an age where Superman so often gets adapted to a much colder, darker character who is finally being allowed to let his actual hopeful light shine through, it seems a perfect time to reflect on some of his best outings. Those times where Supes saves the day - and gives us a heckuva show while he does it.
Strap in, dodge the Kryptonite rays and believe a man can fly!
