lmao shelby asked me to do this collab like 10+ months ago and im like sure but you know i won't start the parts til last minute and yeah i didn't start them til today the 7th aka soriku day lmaoo. they are kinda lazy but whatever. this would have been up earlier but i waited til afternoon to start and i was gaming in between sadfgh the idv rain rot is real. there was some rendering issues but think its fine now hopefully

Ahhh this was supposed to be for Riku Week the free day (May 24th) but I fail and I probably shouldn’t have waited til to the day of to do this whole video especially when I can’t focus for shit lmfao. But it’s finished I can die now. Anyways, I wanted to do something similar to my other riku darkness video I did last year. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWL_yun7gUk)
I really like the idea of darkness with Riku because it shows a lot of sides of him like all the insecurities he has within himself that he doesn’t want to show. So he turns to darkness in order to try and get rid of them but it only makes things a lot worse. He feels really guilty and blames himself for basically everything that happened. Where he developed a more negative self-image of himself. In this video I tried to make this video more of a look inside his mind and know what’s he thinking. That he can be easily taken advantage of just because of the insecurities. For example, maleficent telling him he’s been replaced. Riku must have already had this fear and to hear out loud from some else makes it even more real. He doesn’t want to believe it and can’t deny it so he’s hurt and goes with her. One other example would be how he believed he needed power in order to help his friends (probably himself too) because he viewed himself as weak. He’s constantly struggling with himself and no matter what he’s always has these insecurities. But Riku is learning from and trying to deal with them (with the help of his friends though he wouldn’t want to) However, they always still remain there. He can’t just turn to darkness to try and run from his problems. Everyone from the darkness just used and betrayed him. It’s pretty sad but good angst.
Anyways, I love Riku because he has all these insecurities and traits it makes him more relatable and more “real.” I love Riku for all the reasons people ever hated him because he betrayed or went to darkness or was rude to his friends. I know he only did it because he was insecure and so many people do this. It’s a lot of the world deals with their pain. I never hated Riku and I can’t ever hate him if he is a big fucking angsty nerd.

Hey guys heres a rikai video I dont really edit them too often (they are a good ship though) but blake wanted me to edit them to this song. So enjoy it bitch xD
Story: Kairi loses her heart and Riku wants to help her. He will do anything to get her heart back. He encounters Maleficent who says she can give him the power to save Kairi. Riku accepts this offer and lets Maleficent give him this power however it is not a fast process it takes time and she can only give him a certain amount of “power” at a time. However, when walking one day Riku sees this hooded figure and it turns out to be a man named Ansem. This man tells Riku the only way he can save his friend is by giving up his own heart: a heart for a heart, an even exchange. Riku tells him he doesnt need to he can save Kairi by himself he will be strong enough to save her. Ansem says that Maleficent is just showering him with darkness for her own benefit, he will not be strong enough and when he is he will forget all about helping Kairi. His heart will be too tainted by the darkness to think of anyone but himself. Riku does not listen to him and leaves, he returns to Kairi. At this moment he realizes he really is too weak to save and he just wants her to be herself again. Riku realizes what he needs to do in order to save even if it is giving up his own heart and he will never get to be with Kairi like he wanted or even see her again. So, Riku returns to Ansem and tells him he will give up his heart. The process is pretty painful but Kairi returns to her normal state just like he wanted. Riku falls and becomes like a lifeless vessel just like Kairi was, he is now in the same state. Their roles are reversed and Ansem explains this to Kairi. However, Riku was infected with darkness and his vessel is now empty so Ansem takes control of it. (Lol yeah he totally betrayed Riku even more than Maleficent xD) Which can be seen by Riku’s eyes turning golden. Though there is actually no “Riku” left inside; he is just basically a puppet without free will doing whatever Ansem commands. Ansem commands puppet! Or vessel! Riku to kill Kairi but she escapes before he can do anything. She is heartbroken by what Riku did to save her and really misses him and now too wishes she could have him back.
Ummm if enough ppl besides blake like this and want me to continue then I will maybe make a sequel because I have an idea to continue the story.
