My adult daughter bought an Alaskan Malamute a few years ago. She named it Iktomi....not king, spot, rex, fluffy, buddy, IKTOMI (Ick-toe-me). A few years wondering why she named it such a stupid (opinion) name, I finally 'googled' it. Much to my boring midwest delight, I found out it meant essentially SPIDERMAN. She was not happy with my interpretation.
