In the charming city of York, teenager Jules knows all she and her dad, David, really need for Christmas is love. As both of them struggle to cope with everyday life in the shadow of the loss of her mother, Jules, inspired by old happy family memories, decides to take matters into her own hands. Creating profiles for David on multiple online dating platforms without his knowledge, Jules sets out to find her dad a girlfriend and, for herself, someone with whom she can talk. But finding love is easier said than done, when her plans begin to unravel with hilarious and unexpected consequences.
