Back in the early 1970s, before cell phones and the internet, my family loaded up our old, beat-up RV for a cross-country road trip. Along the way, my dad had the bright idea to stop at Fort Knox, expecting a gift shop, a tour, and maybe even a few photos. Instead, we were met by armed guards and quickly turned around.
In this video, I share the story of our unexpected misadventure at Fort Knox and why my dad was so surprised by the response.
