Lately, my craft room stopped feeling inspiring and started feeling overwhelming instead.
So I tried something unexpected:
I uploaded photos of my space into ChatGPT and asked for help rethinking my craft room in a realistic and achievable way.
In this video, I’m taking you along for the process, the overwhelm, the emotional attachment to paper scraps 😄, and one small reset that already made a huge difference.
Here's the prompt I used:
"My craft room has become cluttered and overwhelming, and it’s no longer feeling inspiring or functional for me creatively or for my creative business.
I’m uploading photos of different areas of the room. Please help me rethink the space in a realistic way for a working junk journal artist. A few important things: I use this room actively every day. I want it to stay creative and cozy, not minimalist or sterile. I need practical systems for supplies, works in progress, filming, and frequently used tools. I often work with lots of paper, fabric, ephemera, packaging, and mixed media supplies. I also need the space to feel calming and inspiring again. I’m not looking for a full room makeover or perfection. I need realistic, achievable baby steps and quick wins that will make the space feel better without becoming overwhelming.
