I try to approach plants creatively and experimentally. I've seen people talk about how they're becoming disinterested in plants, but I think one of the reasons for this might be because people only grow a select few genera or species. Most of the social media houseplant community I see sticks to aroids. I love aroids too, however, it can be refreshing and inspiring to grow different plants or try fun projects with them! For me, it rekindles that initial spark of joy I felt when I first discovered my love of plants. The idea of newness and exploration with projects and new plants is what keeps my passions alive.
