Forza Motorsport 8 is the only game I play where this CONSTANTLY happens.
Okay, I will admit, part of this is due to my Xbox 360 controller. I bought it in 2020 to replace another 360 controller. Both have suffered from the exact same issue of the cable becoming unreliable and not staying connected if it gets bent the wrong way. The current one is at least still functional.
But this is infuriating. Whilst it sometimes has irritating mid game disconnections, usually it seems when vibration is demanded, only FM8 causes it to be THIS bad.
Unfortunately, my options are limited. 360 controllers are getting rarer, and I have no desire to buy a 3rd party one. I did that before, and it was a poorly calibrated POS.
Why don't I just buy a newer Xbox One/Series style controller? I already have one, but the sticks and triggers are too easy to push. The 360 joysticks and triggers have enough resistance that give me the feedback I like. Plus, my Aspergers makes me resistant to changing it.
