Science out There Adventures: How I Spent My Chasecation Part 2! A persistent trough and east coast high pressure system dominated during the peak of 2019's Tornado Season. Storms were plentiful, and so were Tornadoes. But that doesn't guarantee success for everyone. Smoke? Bad visibility? Difficult forecasting Scenarios? Flooding concerns? over-active high-precip storms? In my case, all led to a poor storm chasing experience, but that doesn't mean I can't have a little fun for myself.

 Colorado just didn't play out like I'd hoped. In spite of moderate risk days for Tornado potential, things just didn't cooperate. Birdfarts, bad dirt roads, chaser convergence. Everything that could go wrong, would go wrong. Meanwhile, an epic tornadic supercell would form in New Mexico that would blow our minds, Dora.
