Krzysztof Zając (CERT PL, PL)
During the talk, I will describe a portal launched by CERT PL, where anyone can sign up to receive free vulnerability scanning, password leak notifications, attack surface information, and network event data. Our goal is to provide free security services to anyone interested, including small companies and individuals running niche blogs. The portal has been a huge success - both the usage statistics (thousands of users, and tens of thousands of scanned domains) and positive user feedback show that there is a clear need for such a service. During the talk, I will describe how we built the service, what principles guided us, and what we have learned. I will also encourage participants to build similar services in their own countries and share tips on how to do that.
