This is a short clip sample of my Cap'n Crunch voice. I plan to do an entire commercial coming up shortly. Anyway what I wanted to say is that after Daws Butler passed away, they did more commercials with Cap'n, BUT, the voice sounded NOTHING like Daws! To me, that was an insult to Daws, who created the voice to start with. I think his legacy should live on and not be distorted with every knucklehead who comes along making a new "original" voice. Before you know it, after so may generations of poor copying, just like a Xerox that makes copies of the copies of the copies, you won't even recognize the voice as ANYTHING close to the original!!
Let's honor Daws and his work and legacy by keeping it like Daws made it in the first place.
